We produce films in which postcolonial perspectives and voices from decolonial contexts are not only included but shape the narrative on equal terms. Code of Conduct on Set

A publicly visible code of conduct applies to all crews, service providers, and partners during production.

1. Postcolonial Awareness

We question colonial continuities, reflect on our own privileges, and avoid exoticizing or generalizing portrayals.

2. Representation & Participation

Affected individuals and communities are actively involved from story development through to distribution. Self-representation takes precedence over external interpretation.

3. Power-Critical Research

Research is conducted dialogically. Sources from decolonial perspectives and marginalized groups are valued equally to Western expertise.

4. Fair Production & Resource Sharing

We ensure fair compensation, safe working conditions, and on-site capacity building. Revenues from distribution are shared transparently among all participants.

5. Sustainable Partnerships

Collaborations are long-term, trust-based, and shaped in solidarity.

6. Responsible Distribution

Contextualized marketing, multilingual subtitles, and accompanying educational materials are standard. Screenings in countries of origin are prioritized.

7. Transparency & Accountability

We disclose sources of funding, decision-making processes, and edit versions. Feedback loops with protagonists are mandatory.

8. Sensitivity Readers & Advising

Each project includes an external advisor rooted in the respective community.
